Young artists (ages 6-9) are invited to draw, paint, & print with a variety of mediums and exploratory approaches! Every week, they will have the opportunity to experiment with new materials and learn exciting techniques that will fuel their creativity. Our classes encourage young participants to draw inspiration from nature, which not only enhances their artistic abilities but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the environment and the beautiful world we live in. Young artists will be encouraged to develop their creative thinking skills through four studio art sessions. They will learn through a kinesthetic mode of thinking, which involves hands-on experiences that enhance their understanding and retention of artistic concepts. Additionally, each class emphasizes the importance of practicing observation and self-expression, helping young artists to become more confident in their creative abilities and personal expression. Our supportive and inspiring environment allows them to explore their artistic potential while learning valuable lessons in creativity, observation, and self-expression. Join us at our art studio and embark on a creative journey filled with discovery, innovation, and artistic growth! *This class is 4 weeks long and occurs on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 6:00pm *Tuition includes all materials. *Snacks and beverages are welcome. *Parents are asked to stay for the duration of the class. *Session will run if a minimum of 4 enroll ~ A Little About Your Instructor ~ Joya Mutti currently works as an artist and is the founder of Taylor & Rae Studio, in Princeton, MA. She holds a Master of Education from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Fine Art and Education from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Joya has worked as a high school art teacher for ten years, and has taught a variety of adult art classes and workshops. She has twenty plus years of experience in painting, ceramics, printmaking, and mixed media art.
