Unwind, embrace the joy of the process, and allow yourself to play again. Abstract painting is a great way to try your hand at painting for the first time, or get back into painting again and need some inspiration! If you love interior design, this is the perfect opportunity to create a custom painting for your space that reflects your personal style and color palette. Learn fun artistic techniques as you explore with texture, color, and playful mark-making. You do not need to have any prior experience to make your personalized abstract painting. In this four session course, you will explore layering, color theory and texture applications with acrylics on canvas. Taking inspiration from the work of abstract artists, we will each create a unique piece. 4 Tuesday Sessions: 6:00 - 8:30 PM *Tuition includes the cost of essential materials. * Course will run if four or more participants enroll ~ A Little About Your Instructor ~ Joya Mutti currently works as an artist and is the founder of Taylor & Rae Studio, in Princeton, MA. She holds a Master of Education from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Fine Art and Education from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Joya has worked as a high school level art teacher for ten years, and has taught a variety of adult art classes and workshops. She has fifteen plus years of experience in painting, ceramics, printmaking, and mixed media art.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your session, please contact Joya at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. Refunds are not available for late cancellations (less than two days notice), but you may transfer your session to another person or apply your credit to a future workshop. Rescheduling or transferring a workshop is always permitted at any time. Thank you for your understanding.
