OUR STORY
AÂ Business Dedicated to My Daughters
It began with a vision of inspiring my daughters through how I choose to live. We were driving our first daughter, Avani Rae, home from the hospital for the first time when I was hit with a wave of desire to live a life that would instill in my daughter the values of kindness, bravery, boldness, and creativity. After over a decade of teaching fine art in public school, and the birth of my second daughter, Amaya Taylor, I made the leap to open my own business: Taylor & Rae Studio.

By opening this studio on our property, I want my daughters to witness their mom taking risks, learning from failure, and persisting through challenges. I want my daughters to witness and appreciate diverse thinking, different perspectives, and life stories. I want my daughters to witness kindness, boldness, bravery, and creativity and see how a community can come together to inspire, connect and create.
